High Dramma seeks to combine traditional sketch comedy with elements of musical, dance, pantomime, all intertwined between live music provided by a mad banjo player into a whirlwind of high-minded vulgarity and low-brow sophistication. High Dramma is a 100% independent sketch comedy troupe that has been active in Philadelphia for almost 7 years now. They have put on well over 150 performances of over 30 different shows and have an active video sketch library as well.
Kibbles and Bits does improvised road trips that lead to virtually anywhere. Four friends who can't stand each other cram into a car and travel the backroads to Crazy Town. Kibbles and Bits has dazzled audiences at Unscripted NY, NYC Improv Fest, IndiePendence Day NY, and will soon be kicking off a weekly variety show at The Peoples Improv Theater.
Brick Penguin is a raucous, high-octane sketch comedy group from Washington, DC. They’ve been performing original monthly shows in DC for over five years and taking those shows to comedy festivals in Chicago, New York City, Boston, Philly, Baltimore, and North Carolina. They’ve been called “well-calibrated” and “sharp” by the Washington Post; “hilarious…and utterly sadistic” by DC Metro Theater Arts; and “adorable” by their grandparents. So come check ’em out, Boston: they’re often irreverent, occasionally intelligent, and always a little dark… or a lot. They regret nothing!
